Livestock Management gives a rancher quick access to all of the information you need. You can manage livestock as a herd or individually, tracking each animal’s lineage, age / life stage, tagging, weight, gender, and harvest timing. At the same time, HarvestPath provides an understanding of costs per head, market timing, yields, and it can identify any issues that come up along the way (and they always do…). There’s a dashboard feature so you can get a quick view of the most important metrics for your operation. And you can pull reports to audit your herd, saving you time and money.

As you already know, there’s a process that goes into the processing and production of cattle. HarvestPath helps you with this from start to finish. Designate which animal you need to process, their readiness based on weight and age, track the shipping of those animals to the processor, and track the finished goods that you expect to get from that particular load. This information aligns to the cut sheet and provides product tracking so that you are able to allocate costs to each cut.
If that meat is going to be sent to another stage of production, then that additional transportation can be tracked and those costs allocate.

Inventory and sales are tricky for any business, but HarvestPath makes it easier. Use it to understand which products each of your customers is purchasing, and where your costs and margin stand with each customer. With this information you can know more about how to service them and how to keep them supplied. You can also track which customers are giving you the most business and their lifetime customer value. As for inventory, the system allows you to look up each product or products per customer, products per destination, and how much product you have in each place. It also helps you track transport and storage costs, updating your margins in near real-time, and helping you make decisions about which products to prioritize in the future.
